Briefly describe a restaurant in which you would like to work. It could be an existing restaurant, or the one you hope to own someday. Write a paragraph or two describing this restaurant, its geographic location, style, demographic characteristics of the clientele, etc. Give a good, complete description. Next, go through the menu planning process as outlined in chapter 3 of your textbook. Be sure to completely consider and describe the type of menu and the menu structure. Be certain to address the factors affecting menu planning: Customer Satisfaction, Sociocultural Factors, Food Habits and Preferences, Nutritional Influence, Aesthetic Factors and Government Regulations. You can use each of these factors as subheadings in your paper. See this page for information on how to format subheadings in APA format (Refer to the sixth edition): Be sure to remember to consider and explain your decisions based on Food Cost, Product Capability, Type of Service and Availability of Foods. Be sure to consider truth in menu laws. You should not be simply submitting a copy of a menu. This assignment should be a transcript of what you would consider as you go through the planning process. This assignment should be an essay in APA format (6th edition) with a minimum of 500 words, including a properly formatted title page and reference page. Do not include an abstract. At the very least, your textbook should be cited, but to earn maximum points, include additional sources that support your choices and define your logic. Firms strive to achieve competitive advantage and gain customer loyalty by working with customers and getting to know them. This allows companies to better serve the needs of their customers. Building these customer relationship management systems requires an information technology infrastructure that collects the information and provides management the needed analytics to understand the customer. Many firms have realized a need before the customer does. Take Uber or Travelocity. Both of these firms are giving the customer control and convenience, integrated with the use of technology. Building CRM capabilities takes time and requires a data warehouse for the analytics. Travelocity started with the building blocks to learn about their customers and the best ways to deliver targeted market campaigns to them. In addition, Travelocity can respond quickly to offers from their suppliers. For example, at 8 AM, a major airline offered travel agencies a special fare from Los Angeles to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Travelocity quickly scanned their customers’ browsing behavior, pulled the e-mail addresses of 30,000 people in the Los Angeles area who had browsed, but not bought, tickets to the Caribbean, and then generated an e-mail message to them. The response rate was incredible—with 25 percent of the recipients who had been e-mailed booking flights. This was an effective campaign measured by the response rate or take rate, as well as a highly efficient one as measured by the ROI from the profit on sales of those extra tickets. Go to and review their solutions. Write a report in which you identify a business that you, as an entrepreneur, will start. Describe what the business does, the services it sells to its customers, and how you could use Salesforce.com to jump-start the business. Prepare a diagram of the business processes in your firm, showing how you will use Salesforce.com. This should take 2 to 3 pages. Purchase the answer to view it

The purpose of this discussion is to give you the opportunity to apply ethical theories to the complex issue of Ageism in the workplace, particularly in the area of employment. In the modern workplace there appear to be three key issues which address ageism in employment; some of which has been exacerbated by recent economic issues and an aging population: Older job seekers fight ageism as a barrier to re-employment; younger job-seekers have trouble obtaining career entry; and last, evidence in many countries highlight that older worker employment and youth employment are not connected in any way. This last point is generally known in economics as the “Lump of Labor Fallacy.” This seems counter-intuitive to personal belief and perceptions perpetuate a view that if older workers are employed in a tight labor market, then they must be occupying the jobs of the country’s youth. Prepare and post a response to the following prompt: Using at least one ethical perspective or theory from the text and one item of scholarly evidence, present an argument to a group of younger workers (regarding older worker and youth employment) that refutes the notion that older workers take employment from the young. Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length. Support your claims with examples from the required material(s) and/or other scholarly resources, and properly cite any references The purpose of this discussion is to give you the opportunity to apply ethical theories and perspectives to modern issues of the workplace. Off-duty conduct away from the workplace can be monitored and reported in many ways and with the increase in social media use, there will be far greater opportunities for employers to become aware of what employees get up to outside of the workplace. While some types of behaviors are especially concerning as they may have on-duty consequences, there are other types of off-duty behavior which are more difficult to clearly define as grossly inappropriate to warrant employer intervention. But who draws this line and what are the ethical implications of where the line is drawn? Prepare and post a response to the following prompt: Using the resources provided, your own research, and your knowledge of the ethical concepts from the text, consider the issue of off-site monitoring of conduct: Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length. Support your claims with examples from the required material(s) and/or other scholarly resources, and properly cite any references. Purchase the answer to view it
I need this in about 150 words by tomorrow It is important to become comfortable verbally discussing your DPI project. As you continue in the DPI project process, you will find yourself needing to pitch your idea to a lot of stakeholders. These stakeholders will usually be busy people who do not have the attention span to listen to a prolonged discussion unless the meeting is specifically pre-arranged for that. What will be ful for you as you move forward is to develop an elevator speech of your project that is engaging but gets the point across quickly but eloquently as well. This elevator speech needs to address the question …What is your DPI project about? Write this elevator speech down and practice in front of the mirror multiple times. Many of you as leaders are used to public speaking within your teams. However, you may not be as comfortable pitching to stake holders that are not part of your team especially since you are used to being experts and now you may be feeling a little shaky navigating the doctoral journey. Be assured that you can do it but practice makes it even more perfect! share your elevator speech here. Be sure to keep it to less than 3 minutes if you can and maximum should be 5 minutes.

Reply 1 The fundamental principle of servant leadership is primarily founded on the concept of service to followers. Servant leaders “seek to build their followers” by providing support and guidance in order to achieve the mission of the organization. “The servant leader has initial and primary focus to serve, which is then followed by the desire to lead” (GCU, 2018). They think about the welfare and success of the community they lead. Gandolfi & Stone (2018) noted that the difference between servant leadership and other leader-centered styles of leadership is that servant leaders consider the success of their followers first and then followed by the mission whilst the others seek to achieve the mission before the welfare of followers are considered. Servant leaders possess several qualities including active listening and foresight. According to GCU (2018), “communication begins with listening” and servant leaders are good listeners. They pay attention to what their followers say through their words or actions and carefully factor it in their decisions to ensure success for the group. Again, leaders who practice servant leadership also have foresight. They are able to anticipate future outcomes and plan accordingly. Foresight s leaders to “make conscious ethical decisions” (GCU, 2018). The qualities of active listening and foresight are needed by servant leaders in patient care delivery. These qualities allow for inter-professional communication and collective decision-making in patient care. References Gandolfi, F. & Stone, S. (2018). Leaders maintain a performance driven culture that includes a sense of purpose, open communication, trust and mutual respect, shared leadership, effective working procedures, building on differences, flexibility and adaptability, and continuous learning (Neumann, 2014). To maintain this culture, servant nurse leaders employ several characteristics that develop and support high performance. They strive to foresee how they can best serve the community, build meaningful relationships, and optimize patient care and satisfaction. This is especially important in health care, where change is constant and a necessary part of continuous improvement. The quality of services that nurses provide to the community and to clients in any institutional setting is often dependent on their own interpretation of how they feel valued. This said, the servant nurse leader has an opportunity to directly affect services provided by engaging and building relationships with the nurses they serve. Empathy: Thomas, J., (2018). Chapter 3.
