I love seeing the doubt and insecurity though, because this long-distance relationships wouldn’t be authentic without it. Books by Melissa Landers. I could totally see Landers adding another installment. The Best Books of Yet despite their upper hand, the leaders of his world suddenly seem desperate to get humans on their side, and hardly bat an eye at extremists’ multiple attempts on Aelyx’s life.

I really enjoyed Invaded, but I think Alienated is still my favorite in the series! I love one specific thing that Aelyx does for Cara – for a nonhuman boy, he sure does catch on fast. Now the tables have turned for Cara. On the other hand, these very differences are very interesting – such as how each people’s day-to-day life, their beliefs, their outlook on work is defined – and how this comments on our own world right now. Without cookies your experience may not be seamless.

This book definitely ups the intensity from Alienated, and Cara and Aelyx find themselves among deception on both Earth and L’eihr.

So what was my problem with this sequel? Open Preview See a Problem? Melixsa doubts creep in as she realizes the colony doesn’t seem to be all that it was promised to be.
